Father’s Day Gift Ideas

Father’s day is coming up next weekend, so I thought what better opportunity than now to talk about all the different ways you can spoil the dad’s in your life <3

Let’s jump straight into the gift ideas I’ve come up with 😀

Gaming Console(s)
Now I don’t know about you guys out there, but my husband is an avid ‘gamer‘ – He has his Xbox, a Nintendo 3DS, we have a Nintendo Switch – And of course any games he plays on his phone, so it’s a given that any sort of Gaming Console or Accessories and Games for said console have to be on the list!
For Rick, any upcoming game for his Xbox is always a good gift.

Clothes / Underwear / Socks
This one is an oldie but a goodie – If I’m running low on gift ideas, a few nice shirts and some new undies/socks always works for Rick. He rarely buys clothes for himself, so it’s actually an opportunity for me to tidy up his wardrobe a little bit 🙂

Voucher / Gift Certificate – RedBalloon, Adrenaline, etc
Activities are always a good gift! Either for the family to do together, or simply a day out for dad with the boys.
The gift certificate options online are endless! Everything from Golf to Go-Karting, to V8 Supercar racing and Sky Diving. Surely there is something on there that your husband or dad would love to experience.

Skincare / Body Products
Again, like the clothing idea; Rick tends to not purchase new deodorant, body wash, moisturiser etc throughout the year – Typically our parents buy him a basket full for Christmas and then I top him up at Fathers day or birthdays 🙂
(And if I keep him stocked up with his own moisturiser, he’ll stop using my expensive Dr Dennis Gross Moisture Cushion that he seems to have fallen in love with! 😛 )

A sleep in & a day off
Not hard to organise, not hard to execute and always well deserved for the dad’s in our lives. Take the kids out of the house for the day, or arrange a babysitter so you guys can just chill out, watch movies, catch up on missed sleep or whatever the hell you wanna do!

A Boys Night
Organise it with a couple of his close mates, or fellow “dad’s” – Set up dinner, movies or drinks at their fave pub/bar and let him have a night off from dad duties 🙂

Did I miss anything?
What are you organising for your husband/dad this Father’s Day?
