Review: 2017 Nissan Pathfinder ST-L

I wanted to switch things up a little bit on TheMakeupMumma blog, and I thought why not throw in some reviews of non-beauty / non-makeup related things in my life.

So over the next 2 weeks; I’m going to be reviewing 4 things that have recently come into my life that I wanted to share with you guys and see what you think/if you like it – And if its something I should regularly do on here throughout the year when I fall in love with new items πŸ™‚

As always; Let me know what you think in the comments below and I will always take your advice and feedback into consideration with future blog posts πŸ˜€

Recently we updated our car from aΒ 2014 Nissan X-TrailΒ ST-LΒ to a beautiful newΒ 2017 Nissan Pathfinder ST-L πŸ™‚

We made the decision due to a) having another baby and requiring extra seats and b) planning for the future and family trips with the kids, dog, luggage etc lol

So far, we have had the new car for around 2 months now; and we absolutely LOVE it.
There is so much interior space, in the general cabin, and in the boot!
Rick & I definitely love the technology in the car; from the navigation to the voice command to the heated seats.
And Leo’s favourite feature would have to be the moon-roof above his head that gives him a view of the sky, clouds, birds and stars depending on the time of day we are driving πŸ˜€

It has 7 full size adult leather seats, car seat tethers to both the 2nd and 3rd row (so handy!) – All adjustable seats (forward/back) and fold-able down flat.
With the 3rd row up, we have a total of 453LΒ of storage capacity; With the 3rd row folded, it increases the storage capacity toΒ 1,354L.
And finally; with the 2nd row folded, you have a huge storage capcity ofΒ 2,260L!!!

Storage and seating aside; It is such a beautiful car to drive.
Using around 9L/100km of fuel around the city, and making it from Sydney to Grafton on a single tank (AMAZING!) – It has a 73L tank capacity.
And not to mention the cruise control, lane assist, parking sensors, ABS and emergency braking feature to add to the feeling of safety inside this beast of a car! πŸ™‚

In comparison to the X-Trail, technology wise there are a few upgrades to the features from that ST-L model to this one, like the parking sensors, sun-roof/moon-roof and emergency braking. Size wise, obviously the pathfinder is much longer than the X-Trail to accommodate for the 7 seats and a little bit wider, but not too much.
And lastly, looks wise, its incredibly similar as both the X-Trail and Pathfinder got the appearance reboot at the same time πŸ™‚

We bought our 2017 Nissan Pathfinder fromΒ McGrath Nissan Liverpool.
If you’re looking for a new car, definitely check them out; I’m sure they’ll do you a great deal, like they did for us πŸ˜€

We are so in love with our new car, and hope it will suit all our family needs for years to come!
The husband tells me no more car upgrades, so I guess I’m stuck with this beauty for a while; Not that I mind at all! ❀

Do you have a Pathfinder? Or are thinking of getting one?
I highly recommend!! Its such a beautiful family car!
