Hospital Beauty & Skincare Essentials

Now before I start this post – I’m just going to preemptively say “DO NOT JUDGE ME!” lol
I know all us mumma’s and mumma’s-to-be are supposed to be a supportive and loving bunch; but I have experienced my fair share of mummy-shamers and judgers from behind the screens.

This post is about my experiences, my choices and my life. Not yours, and in no way am I saying that this is a MUST DO or that you HAVE to try this etc
This is just what I’m doing, and how I’m going, and you don’t have to like it or agree with it 🙂

Now that the shitty disclaimer bit is out of the way, we can get into the good stuff 🙂

Obviously I’ve had baby before – And I’ve done this whole Hospital thing with my first one; Of course I made some mistakes that time, and I will probably make some mistakes this time, but I did learn what I did/didn’t use whilst I was in hospital, as well as things I thought “damn I should have brought that” – So this post is basically a little snapshot of my beauty and toiletries bags that I plan on taking with me to the hospital 😀
[Please note: I am going to be in hospital for 5-7 days, so if it seems a little excessive… well it probably is, but who cares! 🙂 ]

Skin Prep

  • Exfoliator Pads
  • Serum
  • Moisturiser
  • Face Wash
  • Face Wipes

Makeup

  • Primer
  • BB Cream & Sponge
  • Concealer
  • Translucent Powder & Brush
  • Mascara
  • Lip Balm

[As you will see above, I’m not packing my entire makeup kit with lashes, contouring powders and eye shadows LOL – But I am taking enough to make me feel relatively like a human as even us mumma’s in labour / delivery / after birth need a little pick me up!]

{And yes, I may not feel like or want to use any of this stuff.. But if I’ve got it there, I have the option and don’t need to send my poor husband home to try and pack me a makeup bag in a rush HA!}
