Time for, Brows on Fleek!
Today we’re talking about brows baby! With brows being such a hot topic in the last few years, they’ve definitely earned their own post all to themselves.
This is the 2nd last post in my series my lovelies, I am so sad it’s almost over! 🙁
Brow colour can be changed as quickly as using a different Brow Pencil or Pomade.
And of course, with everyone changing their hair colour like they change their underwear, brows need to be adaptable and transition smoothly through all appearance changes you may go through 🙂
So when it comes to ‘colour matching’ – there isn’t really any rules or guidelines.
Personally, I like a darker brow to your hair colour – Make them pop and be a focal point on your face 😀
You’ve gotta find the shape for YOU. It is 100% personal preference and of course working with what you already have.
There are temporary and semi-permanent options to shaping your face.
Obviously there are pencils, pens, pomades and gels.
And then the more semi-permanent options are feathering tattoo or mist brows.
From experience, I like temporary products more than the semi-permanent options. You have the freedom to change your shape, style and colouring whenever you please, depending on your mood 😛
I have had my brows feather tattooed and I ended up needing to fill in parts that fell out or alter my shape a little each day anyway, so the money was a little wasted.
And of course, you have to have them touched up every 1-2 years so unless you have a lot of money laying around, you won’t be heading back for touch ups often enough to maintain them.
But let’s dive into some products to help you be creative with your brows <3
Pencils / Pens
Pomades / Gels
Setting your brows is JUST as important as setting your face. A good brow mascara is going to be your secret weapon when it comes to keeping them brows on fleek ALL DAY 😀
Angle angle angle! To get that perfect brow shape in place, you need the perfect angle brush.
And of course, a good brow spoolie / comb goes a long way too! 🙂
Here are my faves…
Keep an eye out on my Instagram for a clip of me creating shape and defining my brows 😛
