As of late, I don’t wear a lot of makeup, I tend to not have much time, nor do I go anywhere; So makeup really isn’t high on my priority list, which is unfortunate, because I LOVE makeup, I love trying out new products, and I miss doing my makeup everyday (or having time to).
But when I do wear makeup, it is typically full coverage to hide the fact that I haven’t slept since 2016 😛
So here is my quick 10-step Full Coverage routine that I’ve been doing lately 🙂
(Technically it is 9 steps due to my Eyelash Extensions only needing to be applied once a month, but since I still have to take time to go get them done/infilled, I included it 🙂
Step One – Primer
I love this primer, it glides on so easily, soaks into the skin and fills my pores to create a super smooth base for my face products.
Step Two – Foundation
This is my holy grail for Full Coverage at the moment, it is the perfect colour, the perfect consistency and lasts ALL DAY!
Step Three – Concealer
Again, a holy grail of mine. It is such a beautiful formula and the ultimate coverage for a concealer.
Step Four – Setting Powder
Unless you live under a rock, you have this powder, love this powder, and swear by this powder.
Step Five – Bronzer
Just for a bit of colour, without needing to contour/highlight/bronzer/blush – I just use this beautiful bronzer for a natural swipe of colour on my cheekbones and up around my temples/forehead.
Step Six – Brows
Since I get my brows waxed and tinted regularly, I usually only pop a little bit of brow pomade through the front for shape and a brow mascara to keep it all in place.
Step Seven – Eyelash Extensions
Technically this is a little bit of cheating – But I could not live without my Eyelash Extensions, as a mum they make me look alive each day with no effort, and they just add dimension to my makeup look. And of course, completely removes a step of my routine, and since they look so good, I tend to not even wear eyeshadow most days.
Step Eight – Mascara
A tiny bit of mascara on my lower lashes to complete my eyes and thats it!
Step Nine – Lips
These are my go-to lip kits – with a colour for every mood (and I have every colour in my collection), I am set for all colours, all days and all seasons.
Step Ten – Setting Spray
This is so important, if not the most important! – Cause I mostly use powder products after my foundation/concealer, the setting spray really soaks into the skin, melts the products together and takes away that powdery cast on your face and keeps its all in place, all day 🙂
And here is the final look! 😀
