Baby Girl Nursery

So it’s been done for a while, but I’ve just added the final touches so I thought it was time to share it with you guys ๐Ÿ™‚

We don’t have a room set up for baby girl as we will be having her in our room for most likely the first 9-12 months, so we have made a special space for her in our master bedroom.

I have LOVED creating this beautiful girly space for our newest family member, it has been such a different experience to preparing for the boys as I’m in a whole new territory that is full of blush pinks, swans, gorgeous little rompers and the most adorable head bows! I haven’t been able to contain myself, and have just gone all out!

Here are some of my favourite pieces, including some videos and photos of my baby girls space we are going to welcome her home to <3

Cocoon Furniture Evoluer 4-in-1 Cot – We had this cot for Cruz, and it was the best thing ever! I loved that in Bassinet mode it is the perfect size to be by your bedside, keeping baby close, and I can even remove one of the sides and press it firmly against our bed for co-sleeping ๐Ÿ™‚
And then once she is bigger, I’ll convert it to the full size cot for her to sleep in til she is ready to transfer to toddler bed mode.

IKEA Malm Drawers – The perfect drawers for all baby girls clothes, accessories & needs, as well as doubling as the perfect change station right near our bed/sleeping arrangement. And I of course included the SKUBB dividers inside to keep everything organised.

Living Textiles Linen & Baskets – The most beautifully made linen for #BabyE to rest her head at night and a basket set to store all her necessities. We got her sheets, comforter and some muslin swaddles all from Living Textiles and I am just obsessed with the quality

DockATot – This is probably my most exciting purchase, I am dying to use this with her and have a comfy yet safe place for her to nap especially around the boys that will keep her just out of reach ๐Ÿ˜›

Boori Deluxe Change Mat – This is actually my second time purchasing this exact mat, we currently have one in Cruz’s bedroom still on his change table, and I just loved it so much, I needed another for baby girl.
It’s much larger and more sturdy that other change mats I have had in the past, it’s high curved sides keep baby on the mat and reduces the risk of rolling off && it even velcros to the back of the drawers to keep it in place.

Faenerys Prints – My latest obsession are the beautiful painted prints from Faenerys; I love every single design she has come up with, and even though I am going on a Swan theme (if you can’t already tell) I couldn’t help but put up the bunnies and the unicorn print as well, they are just too beautiful to not show off.

Jellycat Bashful Bunny – Every baby of mine gets a Jellycat, it’s a tradition that I have even carried on to my friends and family when they have babies, we all get a jellycat.
So no exception for this baby girl, a Jellycat was a must for her nursery and to use as a comforter as she grows.

Snuggle Hunny Kids – I couldn’t create a baby girl nursery without some swaddles & bows from Snuggle Hunny. I have followed Mon since the beginning and had a few swaddles for Cruz – But as soon as this baby was pink, the florals were coming in hot from Snuggle Hunny to compliment my nursery!

Pitter Pattern – Last but very not least, is the beautiful blankets from Ashleigh at Pitter Pattern – I had 2 personalised blankets made months before Cruz even arrived and still use them to death even though he is almost 2. So there was no questions, ifs ands or buts when it came to this baby getting her own personalised blanket(s) from Pitter Pattern.
I can’t show you them yet as her name is still a secret ๐Ÿ˜› But photos coming soon!

I cannot wait to add our baby girl to the space we have created for her.
Dying to love on her and smother her in kisses – So the countdown begins.
86 Sleeps and counting <3
